Faith Development Project

We have designed our own grade-level guidelines for faith development.  Each child receives their own progress card in September.  Families may use these at home as they raise their children in the faith.  These include suggested skills and goals in the areas of

                                ~  Bible understanding                 ~  Character traits

                                ~  Memory work                            ~  Community life 

                                ~  Missions                                    ~  Personal spiritual disciplines

Our parents know that they have the main responsibility for their child's faith development and that we are here to support them.  We provide age-appropriate activities for children and we also welcome them in our worship services.  Our age group classes and kids worship experiences reinforce many of the skills suggested in the Faith Development Cards.  We also plan family events throughout the year to encourage parents as they raise their children in the faith.
