What to expect on Sundays...

As a high school guest, our goal is to help you feel welcome each Sunday Morning.  We are excited that you are thinking about visiting us.  We know that it can be a little intimidating walking into a place where you may not know anyone, so we will do our best to help you feel welcomed.

Our high school class meets during the 9:45AM worship service.  We meet in room 19 (click here for map).  Typically there are 35-40 students who attend each week. Our students come from high schools throughout the area (DeKalb, Garrett, Eastside, Leo, Lakewood Park, Northrop, Carroll, and homeschool). The class has a laid back feel as we serve donuts and students sit at round tables.

Our goal for the class is for students to be able to build relationships with each other and to discover God’s truth for their lives.  Students will find our studies and discussions relevant to their lives while promoting a strong sense of accountability.  We encourage students to attend a worship service with their family.  It is vital for every student to connect with the church through a Sunday morning worship experience.  It helps them feel as though they belong with the larger church family.  We know that you will find County Line’s High School Ministry to be a place that will seek to meet your student's spiritual needs.

What to expect on Wednesday nights...

Wednesday nights is our H.O.T group/small group night for our high school ministry (6:30 – 8:15 p.m.).  Students are divided in same-gender groups and meet at the church in groups of 6-8 with a caring adult leader.  Our small group format consists of the ABC’s of the Christian life – Accountability, Bible Study, and Conversation with God.  It is our desire that the adult leader will disciple the students into a deeper understanding and knowledge of their walk with God.  To the high school ministry, H.O.T groups/small groups is our core ministry.  H.O.T stands for Honest, Open, and Trustworthy.   As a member of a H.O.T group, students interact at a deeper level with the truth we discuss from God’s Word, and students are held accountable for issues that they are struggling with.  Please contact Youth Pastor Dane Kruse at dkruse@countylinechurch.org, if you have any questions about the high school ministry.  You can also check us out on Facebook at County Line Student Ministries.
