SERVE

To serve is to follow the teachings and actions of Jesus Christ, who said "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28). Jesus came to serve others and He did so with humility and no regrets. In order to cultivate a culture of serving, County Line has designed serving opportunities in simple steps - easy to see, easy to sign up, and easy to try.
The ultimate goal is that we will take our gifts, abilities, and passions to use for a variety of acts and service. However, it can be difficult to know where to begin. So we have three different areas of serving to help eliminate the feeling of being overwhelmed. Each of these offering different environments and roles in which to serve.
- Serve @ County Line
There are a variety of opportunities to serve at County Line on Sunday mornings: Hospitality, Children & Youth, Worship, etc. Each of these ministries provide both short and long term opportunities. This gives you a chance to try a ministry before you make any long term commitment.

- Ministry Teams
These opportunities are typically long term commitments that oversee a variety of ongoing ministries at County Line. Ministry Teams recruit volunteers or will nominate specific individuals who have attended County Line for a few years and understand the vision of County Line. Ministry Teams include Outreach Events, Life Groups, Missions, Faith in Action, Creative Planning, Prayer Action Team, and more.
The responsibility for each team is to align the ministry with the mission and vision of County Line Church. These teams provide spiritual, administrative, and visionary oversight to each ministry.

- Life Groups
Life Groups provide many opportunities for serving. Each Life Group has designated roles such as Leader, Apprentice, Faith In Action Coordinator, Prayer Warrior, and more. These are not merely positions to be filled as they are opportunities for individuals to use their gifts and passions with some of the people they care about most.
