Worship at County Line Student Ministries is about celebrating God! We believe worship prepares our hearts to better hear what He has to say, and helps us connect to God and each other more deeply.
In CLSM, we talk about things students are dealing with every day and believe the Bible gives guidance on everything we face in life. Our teachings are organized into sermon series- some are topical, some walk through books of the Bible. The goal is to engage students with God’s Word in a fresh way.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAYS…11:00AM
As a high school guest, our goal is to help you feel welcome each Sunday Morning. We are excited that you are thinking about visiting us. Our high school class meets during the 11:00AM worship service. We meet in room 19. Typically there are 35-40 students who attend each week. There are students from DeKalb, Garrett, Eastside, Leo, Lakewood Park, Northrop, Carroll, homeschoolers, and you.
The class has a laid back feel. We even serve donuts! Our goal for the class is for students to be able to build relationships with each other and discover God’s truth for their lives. Students will find our studies and discussions relevant to their lives while promoting a strong sense of accountability.
We encourage students to attend a worship service with their family. We know it will help you connect with the larger church family. County Line’s High School Ministry is a place that will seek to meet your spiritual needs.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS…
Come and check out our Wednesday nights! It’s a great night of hanging out with friends, engaging worship, relevant teaching, and encouraging small groups. We all meet together for worship and teaching before we split into our H.O.T. groups (Honest. Open. Trustworthy.) Each group has 8+ students in it and are led by caring adult leaders. The groups are also split up according to grade and gender.
We believe in small groups so much that our H.O.T. groups are the core ministry for CLSM. It’s a safe opportunity for students to get connected to other students, to deepen their faith in Jesus, and to have the opportunity to share any issues they may struggle with.
