Special Needs Ministry
To restore lives by including special needs children in our Sunday morning kids’ groups, giving parents the opportunity to attend worship services.
Buddies are the key to changing the lives of our special needs kids and families. At County Line, we have a team of Buddies that serve during our 11:00am service. They are specifically paired up with a child who needs some extra help in group settings. These volunteers work with that child during classes, kids worship time, and with small groups to help them learn and develop relationships. By including children with special needs we are blessing not only that child but also the parents and the buddy themselves.
Once a child who needs extra help is entered into our program we will personally learn about the child’s specific needs, abilities, limitations, likes and dislikes. Together we will match them with the best class groups and buddies. Our main goal is to allow all children in Sunday morning program’s to be involved, learn, grow in their faith and develop relationships.
** While we desire and strive to accommodate all children, our volunteers are not trained to administer certain medical procedures or to operate certain medical equipment. These specifics and concerns will be addressed during the initial interview. **
