This series will uncover why the Trinity matters to our lives.  Understanding these truths are crucial to finding the key to hope in life.  Nothing else matters more than understanding and applying these concepts to our lives. Jesus said, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.”  This series will help us understand why knowing and applying the fullness of God makes that statement true.

April 4/7: Why does it matter Jesus is God?

This sermon will show evidence in Scripture that Jesus was God.  Knowing Jesus is God is critical to the rest of the story. The virgin birth matters because the atonement for our sin needed to be a perfect person.  No one is perfect but God.  If Jesus wasn’t God, everything falls apart from here.

April 11/14:  Why does it matter that Jesus died?

This sermon will review why the crucifixion was necessary in order for us to be freed from our sins.  It had to be a perfect sacrifice. We are owed death for our sin, but Jesus took the death for us.

April 18/21 (EASTER):  Why does it matter that Jesus rose from the dead?

This sermon will explain why the resurrection matters.  Anyone could have died on the cross claiming to be the savior of the world. But only God had the authority to do that.  So to prove He was God, He raised Himself from the dead.  He also rose from the dead in order to conquer death once and for all, so that when we claim Him as Lord, we too can conquer death and live in heaven forever. Paul tells us we must believe Jesus rose from the dead in order to be saved.

April 25/28:  Why does the Holy Spirit matter to my life?

This sermon will review God’s Holy Spirit and what He provides for our lives.  He is our advocate, He intercedes in our prayers, He convicts us of sin, He reminds us of what we’ve been taught, He bestows spiritual gifts, He gives us what to say when we don’t know what to say, He guides us, directs us, prompts us, heals us, comforts us, and on it goes.

Welcome to County Line!

Thanks for checking us out.  We know visiting a church can be intimidating, and we aren’t going to put you on the spot when you show up here. We want you to put all your fears to rest so that you can enjoy your experience with us. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done; no matter what your experience has been with church in the past, good or bad, you are welcome at County Line!

We offer relevant sermons, inspirational songs, high impact videos, and a good dose of humor along the way.  Yes, laughing is ok in church!  We offer two identical services on Sunday morning that last about one hour. Don’t worry about what you should wear.  There is no dress code, so wear what feels comfortable.  We are more concerned about YOU than what you are wearing. Stop by the Welcome Center at the main entrance, we’ll be happy to see you. Come early for free guest drinks at our friendly cafe’.

Children’s Ministry

At County Line, kids are an important part of our congregation.  They are welcome to join you in the auditorium.  We also offer an exciting variety of age-appropriate programming for children at both services.  We strive to provide a safe and engaging place to be introduced to God and His people. Visit our Children’s Ministry Welcome Center for a secure, electronic check-in for infants through elementary-aged children.

Students

We know teens need to get involved in the life of church in order to have a faith that “sticks” as they grow into young adults.  We invite them to join us in the auditorium at the 9:30 service.  There are separate, cool gatherings for Junior High and High School students at 11:00.  Don’t miss the exciting live worship band and small group breakouts for students on Wednesday nights.
