 on the first Monday of every month we Fast and Pray over selected topics
 .God wants us to learn dependence upon Him. He has also chosen to act th
 rough the prayers of His people. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that 
 heightens our feeling of dependence upon God. When we feel the temptatio
 n to indulge from whatever it is we are fasting from\, it reminds us to 
 go to prayer rather than satisfying our own desires. Fasting is a wonder
 ful way to experience true dependence upon God and His wisdom and streng
 th. May TopicsPlease pray God would use our May series to help us unders
 tand how to integrate God into various areas of our lives.In light of Me
 ntal Health Awareness Month\, please pray for those struggling with ment
 al health and that we as a church would continue to be a source of encou
 ragement and help.With Mother’s Day approaching\, please pray God woul
 d bless mothers for all they do for their families. And that God would i
 nspire mothers to continue to be a light for Him in their homes. Also\, 
 pray for those who cannot have children of their own during this Motherâ
 €™s Day season. Pray God would fill the void in their heart with His ama
 zing love and compassion.Please pray for teachers and students as they f
 inish up the school year. Pray God would give everyone stamina\, patienc
 e\, and perseverance to finish the school year strong.Pray God would pro
 vide guidance and next steps for all students graduating from high schoo
 l or college later this month.Take a moment to thank the Lord for those 
 who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we have in the United State
