Special Needs Ministry

Our Mission:

To restore lives by including special needs children in our Sunday morning kids’ groups, giving parents the opportunity to attend worship services.

Our Buddies:

Buddies are the key to changing the lives of our special needs kids and families. At County Line, we have a team of Buddies that serve during our 11:00am service. They are specifically paired up with a child who needs some extra help in group settings.

These volunteers work with that child during classes, kids worship time, and with small groups to help them learn and develop relationships. By including children with special needs we are blessing not only that child but also the parents and the buddy themselves.

Include Me:

Once a child who needs extra help is entered into our program we will personally learn about the child’s specific needs, abilities, limitations, likes and dislikes. Together we will match them with the best class groups and buddies.

Our goal is to engage children in our 11:00 Sunday morning program while giving their parents an opportunity to attend services.  We strive for a loving and safe environment where children can develop relationships and, as much as they are able, to participate in our Children’s Ministries.

While we desire to include all children, our volunteers are not professionals.  There may be some medical procedures or aggressive physical behaviors we cannot accommodate.

Please set up an initial interview to help us make a specific plan for your child.
