Our Kindergarten's mission is to serve our surrounding community by offering a quality half-day Kindergarten program that enriches the lives of children and their families. This class meets Monday - Friday from 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM. The curriculum used throughout the year is aligned with the Indiana State Standards. It is a collection of fun, interactive materials used by hundreds of creative kindergarten teachers across the country.
This includes: Interactive math and literacy stations, Large-group math instruction, Social Studies, Guided reading circle with early readers and sight words, Writer's workshops, Reading comprehension review, Science exploration, Library visits, Chapel, Physical Education, and Music.
Optional:  after-school monthly programs (at an additional cost), Science Buddies, and Art Buddies.
By the end of the school year, Kindergarten students should have the reading, writing, and math skills needed to enter 1st grade the following fall.  No standardized testing is required during the school year.

Our Kindergarten Prep program is designed for children who could attend Kindergarten this year, but parents feel they are not ready academically,
emotionally, or socially. This class meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. By age, kids in this class must attend Kindergarten in the fall of the following year. Children in this class should already be 5 years old. Kindergarten Prep is a class designed for students who already know most letters and letter sounds.
Curriculum will include: Using inventive spelling, Finding letter sounds at the beginning, middle, and end, Continued practice of letter sounds, Sight words, Journal writing, beginning math skills, Literacy, Science & Social Studies activities, and eating lunch at school in a timely manner.

Pre-K Classes are for our 4 and 5-year-olds who could be eligible for Kindergarten the following fall.  This class is 4 days a week (Mon - Thurs) from 9AM - noon. Children meet in small classes with a teacher and an aide. The curriculum is planned around themes that encourage social interaction, language development, creativity, and kindergarten-readiness skills.
All students participate in these special classes as well: Spanish Class, Chapel, Daily Snack time, Children's Library, Physical Education, Music, Art & Science Activities

Pre-School is for 2, 3, and younger 4-year-olds
