Here at County Line we believe in the importance of fasting. That is why on the first Monday of every month we Fast and Pray over selected topics.

God wants us to learn dependence upon Him. He has also chosen to act through the prayers of His people. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that heightens our feeling of dependence upon God. When we feel the temptation to indulge from whatever it is we are fasting from, it reminds us to go to prayer rather than satisfying our own desires. Fasting is a wonderful way to experience true dependence upon God and His wisdom and strength.

May Topics

1. Please pray God would use our May series to help us understand how to integrate God into various areas of our lives.
2. In light of Mental Health Awareness Month, please pray for those struggling with mental health and that we as a church would continue to be a source of encouragement and help.
3. With Mother’s Day approaching, please pray God would bless mothers for all they do for their families. And that God would inspire mothers to continue to be a light for Him in their homes. Also, pray for those who cannot have children of their own during this Mother’s Day season. Pray God would fill the void in their heart with His amazing love and compassion.
4. Please pray for teachers and students as they finish up the school year. Pray God would give everyone stamina, patience, and perseverance to finish the school year strong.
5. Pray God would provide guidance and next steps for all students graduating from high school or college later this month.
6. Take a moment to thank the Lord for those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we have in the United States as we approach Memorial Day.
7. Pray a great number of families register for our upcoming VBX and all the details continue to come together.
