Here at County Line we believe in the importance of fasting. That is why on the first Monday of every month we Fast and Pray over selected topics.

God wants us to learn dependence upon Him. He has also chosen to act through the prayers of His people. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that heightens our feeling of dependence upon God. When we feel the temptation to indulge from whatever it is we are fasting from, it reminds us to go to prayer rather than satisfying our own desires. Fasting is a wonderful way to experience true dependence upon God and His wisdom and strength.

August Topics:

1. Pray that the topics during our services in August would speak to the hearts of everyone attending in person and watching online, leading to life change, deeper faith, and practical application.
2. Pray that God would use Back To School Sunday to inspire and strengthen the faith of the next generation as they help lead the service and share how God is impacting their lives.
3. Pray for students, school staff, and parents/guardians as a new school year begins. Ask God to give them wisdom, protection, and encouragement as they learn, teach, or lead.
4. Pray God would provide beautiful weather and all of the details will continue to come together for our annual outdoor baptism celebration service. Pray those who are feeling prompted to register will do so. Pray lives will be impacted for Christ.
5. Pray God would use our August Friday and Saturday Food Pantry Distribution to meet practical needs, share His love, and impact every person and family we serve.
6. Pray that God would use our Lunch & Learn on Sunday, August 30 to raise awareness, inspire action, and bring hope, healing, and freedom to those affected by trafficking.
