SPECIAL NEEDS

Children are a gift from the Lord. They a reward from him.

Psalm 127:3

OUR BUDDIES

At County Line, we aim to restore lives by including special needs children in our Sunday morning kids’ program, allowing parents to attend worship services. Buddies are the key to changing the lives of our special needs kids and families. We have a team of Buddies that serve during our 11:00 AM service. They are specifically paired up with a child who needs some extra help in group settings. We offer a sensory room for our Buddies and include them in our kid's services when comfortable and able.

These volunteers work with that child during classes, kid's worship time, and with small groups to help them learn and develop relationships. By including children with special needs, we are blessing not only that child but also the parents and the buddy themselves.

INCLUSIVE

Once a child who needs extra help is entered into our program, we will personally learn about the child’s specific needs, abilities, limitations, likes, and dislikes. Together we will match them with the best class groups and Buddies.

Our goal is to engage children in our 11:00 AM Sunday morning program while giving their parents an opportunity to attend services. We strive for a loving and safe environment where children can develop relationships and, as much as they are able, participate in our Kids Ministry.
While we desire to include all children, our volunteers are not professionals. There may be some medical procedures or aggressive physical behaviors we cannot accommodate.
Please set up an initial interview to help us make a specific plan for your child.
